In your previous roles — including as Principal Director General of Vigilance and Chief Vigilance Officer, and as head of the Directorate General of Analytics & Risk Management (DGARM) — you have played a pivotal role in driving transparency, strengthening institutional safeguards, and adopting data-driven strategies to curb evasion.

Your stewardship of CBIC at this critical juncture — with evolving indirect tax reforms, expanding digitisation and the need for robust enforcement and policy clarity — gives us great confidence.
